Clinical Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is a practice of healing that dates back thousands of years. It is a technique used to reduce stress and muscle tension through the application of pressure to the muscles and connective tissues in the body. Although massage can have a postive effect on the body as a whole, it particularly influences the activity of the musculoskeletal, circulatory, lymphatic and nervous system.

Massage is frequently used to support healing, boost energy, shorten recovery time after injury, as well as to enhance relaxation, increase focus, decrease stress and reduce anxiety. Massage is particulalry effective at alleviating chronic pain.
